Weekly Update, 28th – 8th September

Whoops, I missed a week. I’d like to say it was because I was busy working, but I think playing Mass Effect: Andromeda on the Xbox was more of a distraction … but that aside I’ve been:

Working on a statistical data software project for the OECD.

Working with colleagues from Jisc and the DfE on setting up an Analytics Lab experience for analysts working with apprenticeship data.

Writing some marketing material for Cetis LLP, service descriptions and case studies from clients.

Working with Cetis LLP colleagues to define our Student Journey Transformation offering, combining process mapping, analytics, modelling, service design, interoperability and more.

Catching up with Ben and Rory from Age of Peers. I think we could see some interesting collaborations in the future between our companies.

Learning how to use CMAP.

Harvesting tomatoes and chillies from the greenhouse. Cayennes have ripened nicely!

Reading Firefall by Peter Watts.

Listening to the new Queens of the Stone Age album … and their first album. Not sure which I prefer.

In case you don’t know me, I’m a consultant and partner in Cetis LLP, specialising in BI/analytics, open source software, and technology discovery and pre-procurement. Always interested in new clients, so feel free to get in touch.
