Weekly Update July 17th – July 21th

Whoops I missed a week! Oh well, what have I been doing this week?

Working on the OECD statistical data project. This involves some legal due diligence work, recommendations on licensing and IP,  and processes for the development team to follow when they finally release the whole package as open source software and start accepting contributions from the wider community.

Presenting our offering for research data management (RDM) at De Montfort University.

Meeting with our new company accountant at Cetis LLP.

Harvesting shallots, garlic, potatoes and borlotti beans from the garden, and tomatoes from the greenhouse.

Reading The Lola Quartet by Emily St. John Mandel.

Listening to music by Shura and Anna Meredith, inspired by their performances when we went to the Blue Dot festival recently.

In case you don’t know me, I’m a consultant and partner in Cetis LLP, specialising in BI/analytics, open source software, and technology discovery and pre-procurement. Always interested in new clients, so feel free to get in touch.
